How It’s Made: Screen Printing Tees

13 Jan

Have you ever wondered how the screen printing process works? Our friend Isabel is a local photographer and devoted supporter of the Delaware Army National Guard. In the fall, she ordered shirts for the soldiers of the 3rd platoon of the 946th Transportation Company, who returned home from Afghanistan at the end of the month. We happily donated the shirts and are very happy to share with you the images from the shirt-making process.

Delaware National Guard T-Shirt Process

In November, Isabel documented the birth of a t-shirt, from the inception of the design to the printing and drying of the shirt.  She has done a beautiful photo essay and blog post detailing the process. You can see her amazing photography and read the post in full here:

Moving Update

10 Jan

The last four weeks have been a whirlwind as we everything up and moved 45 miles south to our brand new facility in Dover, Delaware. New Image was located in the same location in Newark for the last 27 years, so we had a lot of stuff to move! We want to thank everyone who has helped us during this process. It’s been a very arduous process, but we’re nearly there now. The dryer is hooked up, the walls are (mostly) painted, our loftice is set up and we’re printing jobs, so if you need anything, give us a call. We deliver to New Castle County and are happy to serve Kent, Cecil, and Chester counties too.

Check out the photos from our move here.
