How It’s Made: Screen Printing Tees

Have you ever wondered how the screen printing process works? Our friend Isabel is a local photographer and devoted supporter of the Delaware Army National Guard. In the fall, she ordered shirts for the soldiers of the 3rd platoon of the 946th Transportation Company, who returned home from Afghanistan at the end of the month. We happily donated the shirts and are very happy to share with you the images from the shirt-making process.

In November, Isabel documented the birth of a t-shirt, from the inception of the design to the printing and drying of the shirt.  She has done a beautiful photo essay and blog post detailing the process. Last week, we were fortunate to have our friend Isabel, a local photographer, come in and take pictures of work at New Image.  Isabel wrote a blog post to accompany her amazing pictures of us at work! I’m reposting it in its entirety below.


I had the opportunity to capture some great photographs for New Image a printing business and the process it takes to get your printing work done. New Image is a professional printing business that has been printing for many locals and customers for over 40 years.


New Image offers their services to Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. They print from photo transfers to banners. They also print t-shirts, do embroidery, lettering for vehicles, and much more. They will take any challenge when it comes to printing.
